Functional Medicine Treatment

During an initial consultation with a patient, we cover everything from an extensive health background, to innovative lab testing, to treatment. Together, we create a plan.

This is a comprehensive approach to what are oftentimes complex health issues and, therefore, the cost to address the root causes can vary for each person. Below you will find an overview of the fees associated with your first visit, along with an explanation of the importance of labs, supplements, and targeted treatments to the process. Our patient care team and providers will work with you to help estimate your individual costs and prioritize fees to fit your budgetary needs.

Your costs for functional medicine treatment will consist of the initial consultation fee + the cost of any testing + the cost of any treatment, supplements, and/or medications. These fees are explained in more detail below.

Initial Consultation

An initial functional medicine consultation in our office costs $449 to see Dr. TJ Williams and $349 to see another practitioner. A initial deposit of $200 is due when your appointment is made. Our initial consultations often take around sixty minutes or more and we simply cannot block out that amount of time without any guarantee that a patient will show up. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The initial deposit is applied toward the cost of the initial consultation and is refunded if your appointment is cancelled within 48 hours of your appointment date. If you decide to move forward with testing after your initial consultation, your first visit follow-up appointment, to go over your test results, will be at no additional charge.

Functional Medicine Testing

We offer cutting edge lab testing and the costs vary based on doctor recommendations. Your fee for tests ordered during the initial consult can vary and will depend on the complexity of the condition(s) and the amount of testing you decide to proceed with. We never guess at what is going on inside your body—we don’t guess, we test. Due to the number of patients we see, we have been able to negotiate low prices of many of the tests we run. We will also work within your budget.

Treatment Cost

We find that today’s food and lifestyles don’t provide adequate amounts of nutrients and minerals. Oftentimes we need a little help to maintain the best possible balance. Our team will recommend targeted treatment, supplements, and sometimes medication based on your testing results. If you have budgetary constraints, remember, we will do our very best to work within your budgeting constraints.

Follow-up Appointments

As mentioned above, your first visit follow-up, to go over your initial testing results, is included in the initial consultation fee. All additional follow-up appointment visit fees are relative to the duration of the visit.

Financing

We understand that functional medicine treatment can be expensive. The average total cost for treatment in our clinic can range from several hundred to several thousand dollars, depending on the complexity of your case and what you choose to do.

We have partnered with care Credit to alleviate the stress of the cost that one might incur during their journey with us. Depending on your eligibility, CareCredit can provide a credit line for 6 to 12 months with no interest.
