The Institute of Natural Health offers nutrition counseling to those who request it. We have found that occasionally individuals who are trying to eat a healthier diet may be unsure about certain foods. They may be unfamiliar with a food is and therefore may be uncertain about proper ways to prepare the food. This is not uncommon as we see that more and more people are learning about the health benefits of foods like, kale, assorted dried beans, kefir, etc.
Our nutritional counseling involves teaching people about food. We will differentiate between carbohydrates, fats and proteins. We will help you understand how much of each of these you should be consuming. We will discuss foods that promote health and those that promote sickness and disease. We will discuss the differences between organic, natural, and conventionally raised foods. And we will do this in such a way that you will have a better understanding of the food you choose to buy for you and your family.
Our objective is to make you the most informed consumer you can be when it comes to your food.
