Monica Wilson FNP-C

Monica Wilson is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is working on her certification with the Institute of Functional Medicine. She has recently started her career as a nurse practitioner and in functional medicine; however, she has worked in conventional medicine for the past 6 years.

Monica has always had a fascination and amazement with the intricacies of the human body. Her nursing career started as an RN in the United States Air Force, where she worked in Medical Surgical inpatient units and a Family Medicine clinic. She also has experience as an Integrative Health Practitioner and working in Infusion clinics. These experiences exposed her to the world of chronic disease, sparking a passion for holistic health. To her, our medical model was incredible at providing acute care, but we seemed to have missed the mark on prevention and creating health.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Monica has a strong passion in healing not only the physical body, but incorporating mental and spiritual healing as well.

Monica is certified in the BioTe hormone replacement method, as well as in ozone and prolozone therapy.

In her free time she is obtaining her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training, enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and quality time with her family.
