Lauren Skyles, FNP-C

Lauren Skyles is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is working on her certification with the Institute of function medicine to become a functional medicine Nurse Practitioner. She has recently started her career in functional medicine however she has worked in conventional medicine for the past 5 years as a Nurse practitioner.  Lauren is certified in the BioTe hormone replacement method.

Lauren has personally benefited from functional medicine when conventional medicine was not helping her find answers.  She learned a lot through the process of functional medicine going through her own medical journey.  The process opened her eyes with how beneficial functional medicine could truly help her feel better overall.  She learned the role of more specific blood testing not traditionally completed in conventional medicine, supplements and dietary changes which all play a part in overall health and well being.  Ultimately, her goal is to help people have the same experience by feeling better and to have overall better health for years to come.

Lauren is passionate about helping kids with autism and parents navigating the difficult times upon initial diagnosis, more in depth testing, therapies, and supplements.

She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and trying new recipes, traveling, and Blues hockey.
